Some kids walk in and take the whole room. Others hold your hand for the first three weeks. Both belong here.

Since 1957, Sudbury families have trusted Dance Evolution with the part of growing up that's harder to teach than technique: the confidence to try something new in front of other people.

We welcome dancers of all backgrounds and abilities to our studio, providing them with a safe, healthy, and positive environment, where progress is measured against who your dancer was last month, not against the kid beside them.

We're not a studio families simply pass through. They grow up here, and then bring their own kids back.

PROGRAMS FOR ALL LEVELS

Not sure where your dancer fits? Most parents aren't.

Here's what each program actually looks like:

  • All Ages

    Fun, feel-good dance education for every level. Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Acro and more, from pre-dance through adult. Dancers build a real foundation without pressure to perform, compete, or be anywhere other than exactly where they are.

  • The natural next step for rec dancers who want more. More complex classes, more time in the studio, and a first taste of a professional dance environment, with enough flexibility to keep the rest of their life intact.

  • Ages: 4 and up

    For dancers ready to go all in. Our competitive program builds serious technical skill alongside self-confidence, dedication, teamwork, and creativity. Dancers train across disciplines, represent DE at community events, and travel to competitions.

    Dancers must participate in placement classes to be placed in the appropriate program.

  • Dance isn't just for kids! Our adult classes span styles and skill levels, and great way to get moving, laughing, and meeting new people. Whether you're a beginner or more experienced, there's a class for everyone.

    No experience is necessary.

  • Dance made accessible for children with developmental and/or physical disabilities. A supportive, sensory-aware space where movement and music are shaped around your child, not the other way around.

Money shouldn't be the thing that decides

We believe everyone deserves the chance to dance. The Dance Evolution Affordability Fund provides discrete financial assistance to families who need it. Too apply, or help fund a spot for someone else, start here.
